Wish we'd known about this place earlier! Chill cafe serving Taiwan style eats and boba tea. We had the popcorn chicken -- with the spicy seasoning, very likely the best I've ever had -- and scallion pancake. Milk tea with coffee jelly and mango-pineapple jelly tea rounded out a perfect light lunch. It also helps that the sleek yet comfortable decor encourages a relaxing meal.

Great experience, great food! We had the popcorn chicken, chicken cutlet bento, beef noodles, pork foot bento (pictured), passion fruit Q drink, and the gua bao flight. I grew up in Taiwan and I think the closest dishes in terms of authenticity were the different types of fried chicken - the cuisine at this restaurant otherwise leaned kind of Japanese (like the daikon in the gua bao and the soft-boiled eggs in the beef noodles and bento boxes). But the food is still very delicious, and their meat is really well cooked across all their dishes. The atmosphere was great, with stylized names of different cities around the island lining the tables and Chinese music I recognized playing! They also accidentally brought us an extra gua bao flight and then said we could keep it - no complaints there :))

This restaurant has food safety issue. I visited today(2/28) and ordered beef noodles for my kid. Unfortunately, there were visible dark green/black mold patches on the noodles. I showed this to the staff immediately. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, the staff denied it and responded rudely. A $20 cash refund was given when I requested a refund. But I was then asked to calculate and return the exact change for $15.98+tax myself. The entire situation was handled unprofessionally and without any concern for food safety, especially it was served to a kid.

This place might have the best boba in the Naperville area. Their boba is amazing. The flavors blend perfectly and their crispy popcorn chicken is juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The place has a nice design and it is very relaxing.

I found this place off of Google when searching for places to eat. It’s so hard to find Taiwanese cuisine in the suburbs without going to Chicago. Taiwan Cafe in Chicago has the largest selection of Taiwanese food and the food is delicious. Tugo Tea House has really good Taiwanese popcorn chicken but seating is limited. The International Mall in Westmont is missing a lot of signature Taiwanese dishes. That brings me to 9 Ball Taiwan Cafe in Aurora. It’s located where the whole Vivi’s bubble tea used to be, next to Park to Shop. They have Taiwanese food as well as dim sum available. When you walk inside, there is plenty of seating. The seats are very comfortable. You can order from the kiosk or from the register. We ordered a side of popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet bento. If you follow them on ig or FB, you get free scallion pancakes. The portions are very generous. Both of the fried chickens were very juicy and crispy. The scallion pancakes were soft but firm.. Fried tofu was good, make sure you eat it with the sauce. We didn’t get a chance to try any of the drinks but we will next time. Prices were fair. This is the closest Taiwanese spot to me, so
